What to Expect During Your First Visit
The Brightview First Visit, or psychiatric diagnostic evaluation, will welcome you to a private, non-judgmental, emotionally safe environment. This evaluation is a comprehensive examination where we will review:
- the full range of influences in your life
- past and current life stresses
- medical conditions and current medications
- previous psychiatric medications and/or psychotherapy treatment
Next, an individualized treatment plan will be created for you that includes a combination of prescribed medications, lab work, lifestyle modifications, and/or talk therapy.
Typically, the Brightview First Visit lasts for 60 minutes. If you feel that you need a longer initial session, rates for these services can be provided.
